TUTCO SureHeat is seeking to add an Applications Engineer to support growth in our line of electric heating systems for air and other gases. SureHeat specializes in first-of-kind applications that require unique solutions developed from our portfolio of technology, products, and expertise. We’re excited about strong growth in our key customer segments of aerospace, renewable energy, and decarbonized heating (go electric!) that has created a need for this addition to our team. The Applications Engineer has a critical role as the primary technical and commercial resource for our customers. Working with your sales colleagues and engineering team you’ll recommend products, viable technical solutions, prepare quotes, manage project related work, and provide technical support.

Qualifications And Education Requirements:

· BS in Engineering preferred.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to develop positive rapport and relationships.

· Ability to work effectively with others in a team.

· High-level of organizational skills and ability to multi-task.

· Ability to research, diagnose, and identify solutions and troubleshoot.

· Enthusiasm for learning and maintaining a high level of product and application knowledge.

· Passion for a continuous improvement and striving for excellence.

· Proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Willingness to travel ~10%, on average.

Desirable Characteristics and Skills:

· Experience in creating and delivering presentations.

· Experience in a capital equipment manufacturing business.

· Experience and knowledge of electrical schematics.

· Proficiency in AutoCAD drafting.
